A Careful Walk on the Stones
I slipped out through the slightly open porch door and padded along the gravel path until I reached the neighborhood garden. The curved stone border edging the flowerbed looked just like a narrow little balance beam. I stretched both arms out wide to keep steady, placed one foot softly in front of the other, and began to walk. The morning breeze made me wobble for just a second, but I stayed patient and kept my eyes fixed on the next grey stone. Step by step, I made it all the way past the bright marigolds without once tumbling into the dirt. #RinnyPrettyBlood
