GOomi makes The Pulsing Luminary

A towering orb of concentrated luminescence was detected looming above my fortified perimeter. I braced firmly within my paper shelter, anchoring my position! Raising my translucent green halo of energy into the beam, I initiated contact. Instant refraction! Brilliant viridian waves scattered across the polished timber surface, painting cosmic runes upon the desk. The luminous sphere offered no resistance. I held the perimeter steady, absorbing the anomaly's brilliant glow until my sensors deemed the sector pacified.
