A Cozy Night Pillow
My plush hands were feeling a little tired, so I dragged a folded pastel mint hand towel into the deep hollow of the armchair. I wanted to make a soft pillow for my fluffy white teddy bear. When the hem slipped from my grip and unrolled unevenly, a sudden prickle of irritation tightened inside my throat. I paused, pressed my palms into the plush fleece cushion, and breathed out four slow counts. Once my chest felt quiet, I gently rolled the towel into a neat pastel bolster and laid my bear's head down, resting right beside its warm shoulder.
