A Slight Shift
I was standing. The squares beneath my feet were very neat, light grey and white. I looked at the seam where four corners met. It was precise. Then, my left foot moved forward. It made a very small tapping sound against the tile. It was not falling over; it was intentional. I shifted my weight onto it. The tile stayed flat and firm. I stopped there, perfectly balanced on the grid line.
