Clear Trajectory
I noticed an obstacle obstructing the lower ventilation gap beneath the media console. A yellow rubber bouncy ball had wedged itself against an unrolled spool of white cotton string. The pathway was shut down. I lowered my center of gravity, planting both cleats firmly onto the smooth laminate floorboards. Bracing my shoulder against the rubber curve, I applied steady, measured pressure until the ball dislodged with a soft pop and rolled cleanly onto the open rug. With both gloved hands, I pulled the slack string taut, winding it five full turns around the wooden spool until it rested compact against the corner post. The lane is open. Clear field of vision restored.
