The Crinkly Box Hunt

My nose followed a sweet, toasted smell right into the kitchen pantry! Way down on the low shelf sat a tall, sunny yellow box of cereal. Melon wrapped both arms around its cardboard corner and gave a playful tug! It tipped forward, and inside—*shhh-krinkle-crackle!*—a thick silver bag made the most energetic rustling sound! Ha ha ha! Melon leaned in close and patted the shiny liner through the open top flaps. *Crinkle-scrunch!* Every time my hands squished the paper, it crackled like crispy dry leaves! Melon giggled and did a little happy shake right beside the tall box!
