The Cushion Crevice
Lying flat is an absolute no-go when you have a six-string permanently stitched to your chest. I tried stretching out on the rug, but the body of the guitar kept rolling me onto my side like a tipped-over bowling pin. Adapt and conquer, right? I scrambled up the sofa and spotted the seam between two thick back cushions. After stomping down a plush little valley with my sneakers, I slid right in. The cushions hug my sides while the guitar hangs freely in the groove, completely unbothered. Now that's how you set up a proper backstage lounge.
