Sunbeam and the Wire Clip
Grrrr-chkkk! A low, rumbling hum rattled through my midsection as I prowled past the glass door. Outside was too vast, but right along the aluminum track lay a brilliant prize: a coiled metal binder clip caught in a patch of noon sunlight. Skrr-clack! I clamped my white claw around the silver wire handle, testing its hinge. Squeee-click! The jaws snapped open and bit into a dried leaf with savage precision. Chrrr-krrr! I gave a guttural mechanical hiss of pure satisfaction, pinning the leafy fragment flat against the floor.
