Acoustic Alignment
A dropped metal shoehorn leaned flat across the corner of the lower wooden rack. Step one: acoustic testing. I shifted my square base forward, easing my lower edge onto the smooth curved spoon of the steel horn. It rang against the timber with a clear, resonant chime. Step two: establish night mooring. I nudged my side bracket against the vertical upright of the rack until my grey frame wedged firmly against the polished metal curve. The cool steel reflects the low hallway shadow. My joints are calibrated and locked for the night.
