A Little Swivel Studio part 14
I scrambled out of my paper book tent and headed straight up to the wooden writing desk! Resting near an open inkwell was a clean, upturned porcelain teacup saucer and an unused pastel pink makeup puff. I gave the velvety puff a firm heave, centering it right inside the saucer's fluted ring to make a plush, rotating stool. Then, spotting a tiny brass magnifying loupe lying loose, I nudged its round frame upright along the rim with both palms. Giving the saucer's slick bottom an eager spin across the polished mahogany, I spun smoothly in place, watching the room whiz by like an instant styling salon!
