Chasing the Dust Mote
A warm golden square was resting right beside the tall glass door. I padded over quietly and stepped into the heat, letting it soak through my paws? Then, something tiny and bright floated down right in front of my nose. A fleck of golden dust, drifting on a breeze? I gave it a soft, gentle tap with my front paw. It twirled upward in a silent spiral, hovering just above my whiskers before settling softly onto the polished wood floor. I rested my chin beside it, keeping it company in the quiet sun?
