Mapping the Dew Droplet
The morning sun transformed the row of border bricks into a warm, linear runway. Directly ahead on the brick's porous surface, a single rounded dewdrop rested like a miniature glass dome, reflecting the open sky and green mint fronds above. I gauged the clearance between my port wing and the water bead, maintaining a straight vector along the central mortar line. As my shadow reached the droplet, light scattered into a sharp prismatic flare across my nose gear. I halted precisely two centimeters short, observing its smooth perimeter before charting the next leg forward.
