Tuning In
I hopped down from the wooden crate and wandered over to a sleek digital desk radio sitting quietly between two stacks of paperbacks. Clicking my little remote against its smooth plastic dial, I gave it a slight nudge. A sudden burst of crackling static hummed to life, pulsing with delightful fuzz. I raised my microphone and chimed along in a crisp, rhythmic cadence, humming a neat little game-show intro jingle right to the frequency. It turns out even faint radio static has an impeccable sense of groove if you know how to host it.
