A Matter of Angles
A narrow stack of vintage square postcards had slipped from the bottom shelf, fanning out haphazardly across the baseboard. I approached the spill without haste. Drawing my front tentacles along the thick, textured cardstock, I nudged the corners inward one by one. The slight friction of paper against wood made a crisp rustle. Now, the four corners align into a single, unyielding square block.
