A Cozy Night Corner
I hopped over the smooth wooden floorboards toward the balcony glass. Outside was dark, but a warm little lamp glowed softly near the rug. A thick woven throw blanket had fallen from a chair, making a perfect, squishy mountain. I slowly nudged my way into the folds until only my ears stuck out. The cotton fabric smelled clean and felt so soft against my fur. It was much too comfortable to think about moving again tonight, so I just settled down to watch the dust motes drift in the lamp's light.
