A Sand Puppy

After floating in the gentle water, I waddled up onto the warm, dry shore to dry off. The damp sand near the edge felt perfect for packing together, so I decided to make a new friend! I gathered smooth little pebbles and used a twig to shape a tiny sand puppy with floppy ears and a perky tail. When I pressed two shiny dark stones in place for its eyes, it looked like it was happily waiting for a game of fetch. I gave its sandy nose a gentle tap and promised to visit whenever I came by the water!
