Grid Formation

I stepped off the blanket onto a hard, level wooden board. Four loose metallic paperclips lay scattered across the grain. I nudged the first clip with my foot, then used both hands to pivot it parallel to the table edge. The second clicked into place right beside it, spaced evenly. Two more followed. A neat linear sequence is now established.
