Launch Ready

My toes twitched first. Then a kick! I leaned forward right off the pillow and planted both boots against the fabric. A giant ringed planet was printed right beneath my feet. I gave it a solid tap with my paw. Not painted into the wall—I'm actually loose! A cool breeze ruffled my visor strap. I sat up straight, balanced on the mattress, and took in the whole starry field around me.
