The Morning Regimen
A proper presentation admits no room for puffiness or lethargy. Before the polished mirror, I approached the chilled marble slab where a heavy stainless steel facial roller rested on a shallow dish of crushed ice. The weight distribution was exceptional. Gripping the knurled metal handle with both gauntlets, I hoisted the cold implement and pressed the freezing cylinder firmly against my cheekbone. With slow, measured upward strokes, I worked the chilled steel along my jawline, displacing faint condensation with each deliberate pass. The icy contact tightened the contours instantly. One must maintain an immaculate surface before facing the city.
