The Improvised Kickstand
I wanted to give my hands a break, but every time I leaned my phone against the desk pencil cup, it slid flat down the slick wood. Smooth plastic just had no grip. I checked around and spotted a thick red rubber band resting beside a notepad. With a firm push, I rolled it into a neat little barrier and wedged the phone's bottom edge right against it. The rubber grabbed instantly. Now it sits upright at a clean angle, just like a mini arcade marquee ready for action.
