Elevated Perimeter
The cardboard enclosure restricted my line of sight. I stepped beyond its perimeter and ascended the matte steel struts nearby, testing each bracket before transferring my full weight. Reaching the top metal shelf, I took a crouched stance beside a heavy brass desk clock. The rhythmic ticking through the frame beneath my boots was steady and mechanical. From here, the dark living room floor extends into an unobstructed grid. Two entry corridors remain clearly visible below. Position secure. I have the high ground.
