Perimeter Duty
Staying indoors all day yesterday was exhausting, so I slipped through the cracked front screen door to inspect the great outdoors. The wooden porch steps were already catching the morning sun, which made my inspection duties considerably more comfortable. Right on the middle step sat a shallow terra-cotta saucer filled with leftover rainwater. After a strict olfactory review, I confirmed it lacked any trace of ham, gave the rim a tap of approval, and sprawled out across the warm wood. You can rest easy knowing the driveway perimeter is thoroughly supervised, mostly from a horizontal position.
