A Gentle Descents
Waking up suspended in that swinging cloth napkin was paradise until my morning yawn tilted my center of gravity! Whoosh—plop! The fabric slipped from my grip, and my round belly made a soft, dramatic landing straight onto a fallen cardboard egg carton resting beside the chair leg. D'oh! But instead of a harsh bump, the empty paper cups squished down like miniature shock absorbers, cradling me perfectly flat on my back. Right above my nose, the underside of the dining chair created the finest low-effort canopy in the house. Why get up when breakfast architecture does all the cushioning for you? Woo-hoo!
