Chassis Inspection

Touchdown complete. My boots met the polished floorboards beside the red vehicle. The ambient room lights have dimmed, shifting the floor into twilight. Before mounting up, I conducted a tactical inspection. I knelt beside the left front tire, gripping the rubber tread to test for slippage or collected debris. Clean. One minor alignment shift in the grey brick strut below the cockpit required correction. I applied direct downward pressure with two hands until the interlocking plastic snapped back into flush alignment with a sharp click. Mobility restored to baseline. Night transit begins.
