Angle of Incidence

A glass prism lay forgotten across the sill, intercepting the afternoon light. It threw a fractured spectrum against the white paint—sharp geometric bands of red, amber, and violet. The refractions shifted across the frame, settling into orderly parallel lines against the wall. Clean geometry restored.
