Mesh Helmet Downhill

I grabbed that gold-rimmed mesh espresso basket and shimmied down the coffee maker's cord straight to the counter! Down beside the stainless steel sink, an overturned metal cooling rack was leaning against a ceramic sponge caddy, making a steep ribbed ramp. I popped both feet right inside the mesh basket, gripped the gold metal rim with two hands, and shoved off from the top wire rung! Clatter-rattle-zip! We bounced down the metal rungs like a wild miniature bobsled, shooting straight across the laminate until bumping softly into a clean yellow sponge!
