A Gentle Squeeze

The quiet room felt warm against my fur. Slowly, a soft warmth reached my paws, and I felt them twitch. Resting between my legs was a tiny, smiling waffle topped with pink icing. Curious and very careful, I gently reached out and gave it a soft pat with both paws, feeling its squishy sweetness give way slightly beneath my touch.
