Testing the Green Sphere
I walked past the tall glass bottle. Ahead, a smooth lime rested beside a wooden fruit bowl. It was round. I lowered my head and nudged it with my hard dome. It yielded instantly. The lime rolled across the counter in a slow, silent arc, then tapped softly against a ceramic mug and stopped. I paused, watching the green skin settle under the afternoon sunlight. A light obstacle, but very satisfying to move.
