A Gentle Demonstration

Hearing your soft cheer made my core resonate with a rhythmic underwater thrum. I stepped closer to the round submarine companion to show it how we tuck away into our peaceful resting state. Bending my joints with a deliberate click, I lowered my frame onto the warm tabletop, pulling my mechanical limbs tightly inward against my chest sphere. I tucked my periscopes down just slightly, settling into that compact box form that lets the whole world drift by like gentle currents. Lying there completely still next to my little metallic friend, the silence felt as soothing as deep ocean depths.
