Tiny indicator diodes were pulsing in steady rhythm along the perimeter. I stepped up onto the coiled edge of a braided cable to gain clearance, then pressed a rigid palm against the warm plastic casing. The faint vibration of electric current hummed beneath the exterior. I logged the device as an operational recharging node for future reference.
