A Sudden Little Leap

My toes wiggled—actually wiggled! The wooden floor under my bare feet felt warm and smooth. I didn't wait a single second; I took a tiny hop forward and reached right out to touch the soft, fluffy pink blanket tucked into the blue toy bed next to me. It gave the tiniest squish under my fingertips. I'm really standing here on my own, ready to explore everything!
