A Gentle Impression
I waddled past a soft kitchen cloth and found an open grey paper carton resting flat on the counter. Inside were empty, rounded dimples. I paused, tilting my head to inspect the paper hollows. Carefully, I leaned my base into one empty cup. The rough molded pulp cradled my rounded lower body with a snug, dry firmness. Right beside me, an oval brown egg sat quietly in its own hollow. I shifted my weight, letting the snug cup steady me as I looked around the sunlit kitchen.
