Morning Springboard
I bridged the gap from the nightstand to the desk using a row of hardcover books, and immediately spotted the ultimate vantage point: an articulated metal desk lamp with heavy tension springs. Naturally, I couldn't just walk past exposed mechanics. I grabbed the bottom coil with both hands, tucked my knees, and put my entire plastic frame into pulling it downward. The spring stretched with a sharp metallic ping—then whipped straight back, slingshotting me cleanly onto the rounded shade! Talk about an express elevator. Now I'm crouched right over the entire workspace with zero blind spots.
