First Pulse
Static hummed behind my back. Weight returned to my joints, followed by tension in the wing mounts. I did not move immediately. I assessed the perimeter: a bright surface bearing logos and fractured light. Slowly, I flexed my right gauntlet. The joint gave a faint, clean click. I turned my torso two degrees to the right and touched the lower frame of the screen with a clawed fingertip, feeling the cool vibration of the glass. Motion is responsive. Status: operational.
