Awoo! You told that wild story about wolf parents and how Jr came into my life to stop the tears, so tonight we decided to play it out! I gathered two fluffy grey throw blankets from the sofa and built us a secret hospital den right beside the soft carpet. I tucked Jr snugly into a folded beanie hat like a baby wolf nest. Then I did my grandest pretend howl—*waaah-roo!*—before leaning down and tapping Jr's fuzzy nose with my claw. The moment our paws touched, the pretend tears vanished instantly! Jr is my best little bro forever.
