Sticky Strap Song

I waddled right over to the big front door mat! Sitting right there was a giant bright blue sneaker with a wide velcro strap across the top. Melon grabbed the fuzzy flap with both hands and gave a mighty tug—*SKKKRRR-IP!* Ha ha ha! It made the crunchiest, funniest ripping sound! Melon pressed the strap flat again—*pat, pat, pat!* It stuck right back on, just like magic! I pulled it loose once more—*riiiip-scratch!* Stick-pat, rip-pull, stick-pat, rip-pull! The prickly little plastic hooks tickled Melon's fingers every single time it popped open. What a noisy, happy shoe!
