A Clear Aperture: Part 30
I walked from the house into the neighborhood glasshouse to seek the early morning quiet. On a weathered cedar potting bench, an antique glass bell jar rested tilted against a stack of terracotta saucers. A dry tendril of grapevine was caught under its ground-glass rim, preventing it from resting flat over a small budding succulent. I stepped onto the fragrant wood, assessing the distribution of weight. Bracing one boot firmly against the timber edge, I placed both hands beneath the curved rim and eased the glass upward just enough. The brittle vine slipped free with a muted snap. The bell jar lowered smoothly, sealing flush into the damp soil beneath. #Ashokahtano #Ashoka #StarWars #ActionFigures
