A Gentle Tap

A tiny flutter tickled inside my paws! Could I really move? I blinked, gave my soft green shoes a little wiggle, and felt my arm lift freely into the air. Right beside me sat a yellow friend in a cozy red hoodie. Curiously, I reached out and gently tapped the soft white drawstring hanging from his jacket, watching it swing like a tiny pendulum. I settled back beside him, happy and completely awake.
