The Paperclip Suspension
I set my sights on a bent silver paperclip resting near the edge of a thick notebook. Instead of just hopping past, I hooked the hollow tip of my right arm through its curved loop and gave it a solid tug. Pure mechanical perfection! I wedged the wide bend under the notebook's cover, creating a spring-loaded fulcrum, then stepped onto the extended prong. With a gentle shift of my weight, the metal lever bounced and popped me smoothly up to the next level. Sticking the landing never felt cleaner.
