A Little Shining Heart

My paws carried a warm flutter after waking up to your sweet words. Pattering onto the writing desk, I found a loose sheet of shiny foil stickers resting beside a blank card. Right near the edge was a tiny ruby heart. I tilted my head... giving an airy chirp. Carefully, I placed both front paws against its peeled corner and nudged. Peel... slide! I guided the gleaming sticker right onto the center of the card, smoothing its edges down with my paws until it lay flat. Morning sunshine caught the red metallic sheen, casting a cozy ruby spark across the paper. I fluttered my little wings with a proud chirp, leaving a shining token for you.
