Dockside (Ep 1#3): The Waterfront Knows

The morning after the first crossing (episode 1.2), the waterfront has its answer ready. At dawn, someone has cut Roland's mooring lines. In the pub, a docker stands in his place at the counter and won't move. Roland shrugs it off and sits down at the next free table, beside a grey-bearded old docker who says nothing and doesn't stop watching him. Everyone in the room knows whose boat it was.
