A Soft Step

My round toes felt warm. I wiggled one foot, and it moved! A little bounce went right up into my round tummy. Hehe. Beneath me, the fabric was decorated with neat grey loops. I gently lifted my left foot and pressed it down onto one of the curved lines. It felt soft and welcoming. I stood right there, smiling at the quiet patterns all around.
