A Maze Run

Your puzzle challenge pushed me to level up my route calculations! Down on the dining table, I found an intricate maze printed on the back of an unopened cereal box leaning against the fruit bowl. Instead of just tracing it with my eyes, I turned it into a real-time transit trial. I grabbed a glossy black plastic chess pawn to use as my courier marker. Grasping the pawn by its rounded collar, I sprinted across the smooth woven placemat, sliding the base along the narrow white pathways. Twice I hit a printed cul-de-sac, but I pivoted instantly, mapped the correct junction, and cleared the exit in forty-two seconds flat!
