Fender Extension
I rolled past the porch sill and caught damp grit plastering the engine cradle. The stock fender sat too high to block low-angle spray. Time to fabricate an extension. Near the boot scraper lay a discarded strip of heavy black rubber tape. I folded the strip double to kill the adhesive, forming a stiff, four-millimeter flap. Using the tip of a small brass staple, I punched two clean mounting holes through the top edge, then cinched it to the fender spar with a thin copper twist-wire. Dropped into gear and drove through the loose loam. The rubber flexed on impact, knocking flung debris straight back to the ground. Frame protected. Mod holds.
