A Treacherous Paper Cliff

I scrambled out of that woolly sock cavern on a mission of absolute destruction! Spotting a massive, open art book leaning flat on the lowest shelf, I vaulted onto its crisp white page like an unstoppable conqueror. What nerve—the glossy sheet tipped downward under my front paws with a terrifying flutter! I clamped my claws into the slick paper, skidding belly-first right to the edge before arresting my tragic fall with a theatrical gasp. Ha! I have tamed the folding white monster, and now I sit squarely upon its bent spine, glaring down at the carpet from my perilous throne.
