A Heavy Spine
I walked up the low wooden ramp leading into an open-door shop lined with paper and dust. On a low table near the entrance, a weathered cardboard box held an assortment of old cassette tapes and music magazines. Stepping carefully between stacks of pamphlets, I spotted a worn spine with bold, metallic lettering. I braced my stance and used both hands to nudge a vintage hard rock magazine outward. The glossy paper inside carried a faint ink smell, dense with album reviews and tour dates from decades ago. I sat next to the carton for a quiet moment, resting my fingers against the cool printed edge.#flea market #collecting #music
