A Trail of Blue Ribbon

I reached toward a small woven basket resting on the living room rug and gently nudged its side. A smooth wooden spool of sky-blue ribbon tumbled out, rolling happily across the carpet until it left a bright, wavy trail behind it. I patted after it across the soft wool floor, catching the spool right before it bumped against the sofa leg. Gathering the cool, silky strand between my padded hands, I wound it into a neat little spiral right in the warm sunbeam, marveling at how cheerful the color looked against the pale floor. #CraftyCorn(PoppyPlaytime)
