Grid realignment

Advancing across the wooden plain from the book stack, I encountered an irregular cluster of metal clips and wooden cylindrical markers. Sector discipline was compromised; the objects lay scattered without system. I set to work. Clamping my hands around the steel clips one by one, I hauled them into a parallel row aligned with the desk margin. Next, I pushed two hexagonal pencils until their tips leveled with the edge of a clear acrylic holder. Structural order restored. Perimeter clear.
