Taming the Garden Hose
I heard a soft hiss coming from the brass faucet and dashed right over to investigate! Coiled underneath was a heavy, ribbed green garden hose looped like a sleeping dragon. Naturally, I couldn't just walk past. I leaped onto the thick rubber ridge, wedged my boots into the grooved texture, and tried to surfboard down the slope. Whoosh—the slick rubber wobbled immediately! To stop from tumbling off, I clamped my golden claws into the brass coupling collar, leaning hard into the turn. The metal clicked as my weight rattled against the connector, sending a dull thrum through the pipe. I managed to stick the landing right on a dried dandelion stem. Total precision surfing!
