A Gentle First Stretch
Everything was dim and still. Then... warmth reached my hooves. I blinked softly into the quiet space. Slowly, I lifted my chin from the dark fabric and stretched one front leg forward. Next to me sat a bright yellow crinkly bag. I paused, watching it carefully. With a tiny, cautious nudge of my nose, the corner rustled softly. The sound was bright and cheerful in the quiet morning air. I can move, and the world answers gently.
